Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Security Officer
Location: East Hanover, NJ
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 7:00AM to 5:00PM
Pay: $19.50 per hour
St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. (SMSSI) is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at a client site in Hopewell, NJ. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through observation, reporting, patrols, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and security concerns
- Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Respond to incidents and emergency situations as required
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients
- Monitor access control and visitor activity as assigned
Requirements
- Current New Jersey SORA License required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write detailed and accurate reports
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing
- Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- CCURE security software experience preferred
Qualifications
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
