Armed Gate Supervisor
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday (1st Shift) | Weekends as needed
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Armed Gate Supervisor for a residential community in Boca Raton, Florida. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing gate operations, supervising security personnel, and ensuring strict access control procedures are followed at all times. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D License
- Valid Florida Class G License
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida firearm license
- Must own and maintain a personal firearm in accordance with Florida law
- Security supervisory experience (required)
- Prior security experience, preferably within an HOA or residential community setting (required)
- Valid driver’s license strongly preferred
- Military experience or law enforcement background strongly preferred
- Clean background and ability to meet all state and company requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead gate security officers, ensuring adherence to all post orders and procedures
- Enforce strict access control protocols for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries
- Monitor and control all entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns with professionalism and composure
- Prepare detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
- Conduct shift briefings and ongoing performance oversight of assigned personnel
- Ensure compliance with Florida licensing requirements and firearm regulations
- Maintain a secure, orderly, and customer-focused environment within the community
Safety & Professional Standards
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism in appearance, conduct, and communication
- Exercise sound judgment and strict firearm safety at all times
- Demonstrate strong leadership, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
- Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and mitigating potential security risks
- Uphold confidentiality, integrity, and accountability in all duties
