Armed Floater Security Officer (ACT 235 Certified)
Location: Philadelphia, PA & Surrounding Suburbs
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Availability Required)
We are seeking professional and reliable Armed Floater Security Officers to provide coverage across Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. This position requires a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to various site assignments. Officers must be capable of traveling between multiple locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security coverage at multiple client sites
- Respond to incidents and maintain a strong, visible security presence
- Follow all post orders, safety protocols, and client requirements
- Complete detailed reports and documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when necessary
- Maintain readiness and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Act 235 Certification (required)
- Must own your firearm
- Must have a Level II or higher holster
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) screening
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive throughout Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs
- Must have armed security experience
- Ability to adapt to various site environments and schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
