Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Security Officer Location: Camp Hill, PA
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Saturday to Monday - 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Tuesday & Wednesday - 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support operations at a production facility in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This role requires a strong security presence, attention to detail, and adherence to established safety, sanitation, and compliance protocols common to regulated production environments. Site details will be disclosed during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the facility, including employees, visitors, and vendors
- Verify identification and maintain accurate entry/exit logs
- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
- Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
- Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs as required
- Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and company policies in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a firm and courteous security presence
- Follow all required safety, hygiene, and compliance guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous security officer experience preferred
- Knowledge of standard security procedures, patrol techniques, and access control
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow detailed instructions
- Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
