STEM Teacher (part time)

The Part-Time STEM Teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, and innovation through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The teacher promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration in alignment with Catholic values and the school’s mission to educate the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Plan and deliver quality STEM lessons aligned with school curriculum standards and Catholic educational philosophy. •Integrate real-world problem-solving, inquiry-based learning, and project-based instruction into classroom experiences. •Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular STEM learning opportunities. •Use age-appropriate technology to enhance instruction. •Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, perseverance, and teamwork. •Assess and document student learning progress, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents. •Maintain classroom materials, technology, and equipment responsibly and safely. •Participate in professional development as requested. •Model Catholic values through words, actions, and relationships with students and colleagues. •Support the mission of the school and the broader Catholic educational community. •Commitment to fostering a faith-filled, inclusive, and joyful learning environment. •Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
