St. Michael’s Harbour is hiring a Master’s Level Behavioral Specialist to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Hermitage, PA area. Join a dedicated Behavioral Support Team focused on increasing independence, improving quality of life, and reducing challenging behaviors through evidence-based practices.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and oversee individualized behavior support plans
- Provide direct behavioral support in home and community settings
- Train caregivers and direct support professionals
- Collect and analyze behavioral data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and Supports Coordinators
- Maintain compliant, timely documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in psychology, social work, special education, ABA, counseling, or related ODP-approved field
- Meets PA ODP requirements for Behavioral Specialist (certification support available for eligible candidates)
- Experience with adults with IDD/autism (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and basic computer proficiency
