Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Surgical Tech, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients.
Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process.

- Prepares the operating room and patient for the surgical procedure by applying principles and techniques of asepsis to work assignments; sets up sterile equipment, instruments, drapes and solutions; assists with scrubbing, preparation of sterile field, gowning/gloving members of the surgical team.
- Helps the surgeon and any assistants put on their surgical gowns and gloves.
- Assists with positioning and draping of patient under direction of qualified practitioner.
- Assists with comfort and safety measures under direction of qualified practitioner.
- Transfers and positions patient to operating room table and covers them with sterile surgical drapes.
- Assists anesthesia personnel as needed under the direction of qualified practitioner.

Job Requirements
- Graduation from surgical technology program accredited through Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology ARC-ST., upon hire
- Surgical Technologist Registration: WA, upon hire or
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing may be substituted for graduation from an accredited surgical technician program., and RN License: WA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association, upon hire
Preferred
- Six months operating room work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities
Salary : $31 - $46
