Schedule: Varies by level and building school days
Wages: $175/day.
Benefits: No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and required substitute teaching license (short-call, long-call, lifetime, or Tier 3 or Tier 4).
Application Process
Please apply online and attention application materials to Angel Lussier, Human Resources Supervisor. Once your teaching license is verified, you will be sent an email with a link to complete a background check. Once your background check is approved, you will be invited to an in-person interview. Interviews will be on May 20, 2026, from 9:30-11am. (Interview slots are 10 minutes each and assigned in order, as background checks clear.) Selected applicants will complete in-person paperwork (bring your driver's license and social security card) on site following the interview and an online checklist with new hire documents at home after the interview. All new substitutes will attend mandatory substitute training on a date to be scheduled and announced at interviews. Substitutes will then be entered into SmartFind, our substitute management system and can begin substitute teaching the day after training.
