We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for working with 4 and 5 year olds in the Just 4 Kids program. Supervise, implement, lead daily structured activities and actively engage in with preschool children in Just 4 Kids/Kids Play programs. For more information, please see the job description for this position.
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Contract: 260-261 days
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 12 months, 9:30am-5:30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Program hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
FTE: 0.9375 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $18.38-$18.86 per hour

Requirements & Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and must be 18 years of age or over. Prefer additional post-secondary coursework, certification, or specialized training related to education or child care. Prefer experience working with preschool children and/or school age children. Able to lift 25 pounds, work indoors and outdoors in a range of temperatures, and in a fast paced physically active and loud environment associated with children’s activities. Periods of sitting and standing required.
