About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Instructing/coaching students in:
Technical Skill Development:
Teach fundamental and advanced soccer skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, receiving, and defending.
Use age- and level-appropriate drills to improve ball control, footwork, and confidence.
Tactical Instruction:
Train players in team strategy, formation structure (e.g., 4-4-2, 4-3-3), and situational awareness.
Emphasize concepts like spacing, transitions, pressing, and game intelligence.
Practice Planning & Management:
Design and run organized, engaging, and progressive training sessions.
Balance technical drills, small-sided games, fitness, and scrimmage play.
Start Date: June 16th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8 am to 10 am
FTE: 0.15 (6 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.

Experience in instructing/coaching soccer
