Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities would include creating an engaging learning environment that fosters academic and spiritual growth, develops 6th, 7th and 8th grade students’ skills and a love of learning. The candidate should be competent at lesson planning and instructing, specifically, ensuring students’ spiritual and academic growth.
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that address spiritual, emotional, and physical growth.
- Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating and reinforcing.
- Adapt curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies.
- Maintain positive communication with families through newsletters, daily updates, and as-needed outreach.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in annual reviews and professional development.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
- Bachelor's degree and teacher certification are required.
