Position Overview:
St. Matthew Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and faith-filled Part-Time Specials Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. We are open to applicants with expertise in any of the following subject areas:
- Art
- Library/Media Literacy
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- Technology/Computer Science
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for their subject area, a love for working with children, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to our Catholic school community.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in your area of specialty to students in grades PreK–8 (specific grade levels may vary based on the subject).
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment rooted in Catholic values.
- Collaborate with homeroom and specials teachers to integrate curriculum where possible.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with Arizona state standards and the mission of Catholic education.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback as needed.
