Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by following established safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap schedules, diapering, and hygiene practices for infants and toddlers.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and address behavioral challenges constructively.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's individual needs and developmental goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards within daycare or classroom settings.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required within 90 days of coming on board; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and classroom experience enhances your ability to succeed in this role.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
