Long-term substitute kindergarten teacher, August 12th - December 18th.
We are seeking an enthusiastic long-term substitute kindergarten teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of students.
Teacher candidate will demonstrate:

• A dedication to student learning and achievement focused on higher-order thinking skills.
• High proficiency with the use of technology for teaching and hands-on learning.
• A commitment to working with students who have different learning needs, particularly by providing accommodations or modifications to the curriculum and assessments as necessary.
• Ability to organize and maintain a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement, and attendance as required by procedures and applicable laws.
• A desire to collaborate and maintain strong collegial relationships.
• Ability to build on others’ ideas, capitalize on others’ strengths, and effectively share responsibility. Compensation based on experience.
Licensure preferred:
Ohio K-5 License or comparable, substitute teaching license, or non-tax license. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Must have a satisfactory outcome of a fingerprinting check before starting employment and complete necessary training (e.g., Virtus training for child protection).
