What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applied Behavior Analyst (BCBA) outpatient services position at St. Mary's Residential Training School?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The BCBA for outpatient services is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of behavioral treatment plans for clients in an outpatient care center setting, empowering them to thrive through effective behavior change across meaningful areas of their lives. Our BCBAs benefit from ongoing support and mentorship from a BCBA-D.
QUALIFCATIONS: (This list may not include all i of the duties assigned)
- A Masters degree in applied behavior analysis or a closely related field is required.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst is required.
- Licensure in the State of Louisiana is required.
- At least one year of experience in providing ABA services in an outpatient care setting is required.
- Completion of 8-hour supervision training and maintenance of supervisor status per BACB requirements.
- A valid driver’s license, certification in CPR, and competency in CPI or another form of crisis prevention system will be required throughout employment.
- Competency in the use of telephones, computers, copiers/scanners, and other basic office equipment is required.
- Experience providing services to adolescents and young adults is desired.
- Experience conducting behavior analytic research is desired.
- Experience working with insurance companies is desired
