Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Rehabilitation Unit at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
Responsibilities
- Manage nurse schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all units.
- Assign nursing staff based on patient needs, acuity levels, and staff competencies.
- Respond to emergencies such as patient crises, natural disasters, or security incidents.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, families, and hospital administration.
- Uphold hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
Requirements
- A current state RN license.
- An associates degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
