St. Mary’s High School, a Catholic, college-preparatory school in Westfield, MA, is seeking a part-time Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The selected candidate will teach one course, which may include Biology, Natural Science, Anatomy & Physiology, or Chemistry, depending on expertise and school needs.
Responsibilities:
Teach one high school science course
Develop engaging, student-centered lessons and labs
Promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry
Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
Collaborate with faculty and participate in school community life as appropriate
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science field or related area (Master’s preferred)
Teaching experience at the high school level preferred
Strong content knowledge in at least one of the listed subject areas
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
