Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed role.
- Provide a blend of inpatient stabilization and outpatient follow-up for substance use disorders.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team committed to holistic, recovery-focused care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients with substance use disorders.
- Initiate and manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for all substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with behavioral health providers, care managers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in team case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education.
- Provide patient and family education on recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Required Credentials - Nurse Practitioner licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State. FNP or PMHNP certification accepted.
Preferred Experience – experience in addiction medicine preferred however, if you are passionate and have a strong interest in addiction medicine, our Medical Director and experienced NP are happy and willing to train.
Skills - Strong communication, motivational, and team-based care skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary - $130,000
- Competitive compensation package, including base salary sign-on bonus
