Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Evaluate the child's gross motor skills, reflexes, reactions, muscle tone, passive and active range of motion, upper extremity functioning/fine motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive and visual perceptual skills, ADL skills and equipment needs.
- Check physician's orders to ensure OT services have been requested as appropriate.
- Based on evaluation and physician's request, develop treatment plan, goals for
- Order and/or fabricate supplies, equipment and orthotics needed to carry out each child's treatment plan.
- Conduct occupational therapy treatment sessions as appropriate.
- Develop monthly progress notes and 180 care plans/reevaluations and discharge summaries.

Formal education required:
- Bachelors Degree In Occupational Therapy
- Registered Occupational Therapist, licensed In New York State
- Two years pediatrics experience, preferred. Bilingual preferred.
