Job Duties / Responsibilities
Formal education required:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
Previous Experience Required
Minimum of six months of experience in housecleaning or closely related area with demonstrated skills.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Leads the department staff to accomplish required activities in an efficient and effective manner. Promotes customer friendly service.
- Enforces the operations structure for the department and recommends work systems to ensure optimum utilization and coordination of personnel and resources.
- Performs laundry and other environmental services such as vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, scrubbing, sweeping, glass cleaning, collecting and depositing waste, etc. according to established time frames, as required.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies such as towels, soap and toilet tissue and paper towel dispensers.
- Picks up and delivers laundry to all units
- Maintains inventory of laundry items.
- Recognizes and reports changes in the residents' behavior promptly to the Supervisor.
- Uses cleaning equipment and chemical agents and supplies responsibly according to facility policy.
- Records time worked promptly and accurately according to facility policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
