Job Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator supports the mission of St. Mary's Health System by overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers who contribute to delivering exceptional patient and visitor experiences. This role ensures that all volunteers are appropriately screened, trained, and supported to perform their duties effectively and in alignment with the organization's values. The Volunteer Coordinator will collaborate closely with departments across the hospital to identify volunteer needs, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and assist in developing training and recognition programs that foster a positive and rewarding volunteer environment.

Job Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in volunteer management, human resources, or healthcare preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
