- May be required to assist pharmacist in retail and/or hospital
**Essential Job Functions:**
- Coordinates and performs department needs for projects, reporting,
committee work
- Provides department administrative support, including scheduling of
- Performs functions related to auditing both inter- and
completes audit requests from external entities
- Participates in Standard Operating Procedure development and posting
- Participates in the development and training of pharmacy technicians
- Performs duties of a Certified Pharmacy Technician, including
- Communicates effectively with customers
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the department
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne
- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
- Communicate with co-workers in person, in writing and on telephone.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician license with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy
- Hired as of 6/1/2009, CPhT required
- Minimum 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician required
- Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy systems
- Demonstrated ability to use computer skills including keyboarding
data based software programs
- BLS required
- St. Marys and Clearwater Health operate 24 hours per day each day of
available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the
needs of the patients.
- St. Marys and Clearwater Health Clinic locations have operation
work all clinic shifts, weekends and holidays as appropriate for
location will be expected and required.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position.
- On feet a minimum of 8-12 hours, depending on length of shift.
- Must be able to lift and move 50lbs
- Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and pushing heavy
- Read charts, dials, equipment settings, literature and other printed
- Work with equipment and computers (keyboarding).
