Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at St. Mary's Health and Clearwater Valley Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with policy and procedure development for pharmacy services
- Manage personnel and associated training and competencies
- Oversee remote pharmacy services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist with formulary management, including contract compliance, interchanges, and shortage management
- Manage inventory and distribution systems, including Pyxis system maintenance and controlled substance inventory
- Ensure compliance with hospital exposure control plans and HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science
- Idaho Pharmaceutical License
- PharmD Certification (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience (preferred)
