Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves working closely with young learners, implementing effective lesson plans, and supporting the individual needs of each child in the classroom.
Hours 1:30-6 Monday through Friday (days are flexible)
Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide high-quality preschool instruction, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with staff, parents and guardians to support child welfare and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood learning environments.
- Classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
- Must complete Virtus Training prior to employment
