Role Description
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented pharmacist to step into a leadership role with full support and training. The position is ideal for a pharmacist who is eager to grow into the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position and is ready to develop the skills necessary to lead a team and manage pharmacy operations effectively.
The role offers direct mentorship from experienced leadership to help develop the skills needed to successfully manage and lead a team. An accepted candidate will gain meaningful experience in both non-sterile compounding and specialty pharmacy.
No prior leadership or compounding experience is required — we will provide hands-on training in both areas. This is an ideal role for a pharmacist looking to move beyond the big-box retail model and into leadership experience within a dynamic and growth-focused environment.
Qualifications
· Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
· Active pharmacist license in the state of Florida
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe practice
· Willingness to be trained in compounding and PIC responsibilities
· Prior leadership or compounding experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages or boxes up to 25–35 lbs
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and typing
• Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed to access supplies and medication stock
• Visual acuity to read prescriptions, labels, and computer screens accurately
• Clear verbal communication and active listening skills for phone and in-person interactions
