St. Mary of the Assumption School has been a cornerstone of Catholic education since 1899, serving a diverse and welcoming community representing over 20 languages and 25 communities of students ranging from Infants through Grade 8. St. Mary’s provides a nurturing and welcoming learning environment that values academic excellence, cultural diversity, and personal growth.
We are seeking a full-time Early Childhood Infant Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting infants’ cognitive, social, and emotional development, maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment, monitoring developmental milestones, and collaborating with families and colleagues to support each child’s individual needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Early Childhood Education and Child Development
- Strong teaching and curriculum planning skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Familiarity with Catholic education and values preferred
