St. Mary of the Annunciation School is seeking a full time PreK Coordinator. St. Mary's is an academically rigorous and supportive PreK-8 community located in Danvers, MA. The PreK Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, curriculum implementation, and spiritual formation within the preschool program. This role ensures that the PreK program reflects the mission and values of St. Mary of the Annunciation School while providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The coordinator supports teachers, engages families, and promotes excellence in early childhood education rooted in faith.
Key Responsibilities:
Support PreK teaching staff, including mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluations
Coordinate daily operations of the preschool program, including scheduling and classroom management
Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and school policies
Student records and program documentation
Implement a high-quality, developmentally appropriate PreK curriculum aligned with Catholic values
Integrate faith formation into daily lessons, fostering spiritual growth and understanding
Observe classrooms regularly and provide constructive feedback to teachers
Work with the Principal to organize professional development opportunities for staff
Promote Catholic identity through prayer, liturgical celebrations, and religious instruction
Collaborate with school leadership to align PreK activities with the broader mission of the school
Encourage age-appropriate participation in Mass, prayer services, and religious traditions
Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and conferences
Plan and coordinate family events, orientations, and community-building activities
Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and school administration
Support teachers in addressing diverse learning needs and behavioral concerns
Support Teachers in the communication with families of developmental milestones, learning needs, or behavioral concerns
