Join our vibrant community as a Church Youth Leader and Aspirant, where your passion for the Ministry and fostering spiritual growth in children come together. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and support youth through Christian-based activities and educational programs. In addition, as an Aspirant, you will participate in clerical activities and be assigned duties to be performed at church services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging youth programs that align with the church’s mission and values, including weekly meetings and special events.
- Provide mentorship to youth members and spiritual support to church members, as directed.
- Collaborate with clergy, church staff, and volunteers to support the general needs of the church.
- Lead prayer and prepare the church for masses, as appropriate.
- Ability to plan and execute weekly lessons.
Qualifications
- A strong record of attending services at a traditional protestant, Anglican, Catholic or Orthodox church.
- Evidence of leadership skills with the motivation to grow into a Deaconate position through active engagement in Church pastoral duties.
- Evidence of baptismal, holy communion/confirmation sacraments received.
- Knowledge of Christian teachings through academic coursework or certifications in theology, religion or pastoral ministry.
- Apirations of obtaining a bachelors degree desirable.
