What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Director/Transportation Director position at St Mary High School, Storm Lake?
St. Mary's High School in Storm Lake, Iowa, is seeking a 7-12 Activities Director. Our school offers volleyball, basketball, golf, track, and softball and share other sports with our local public school. The individual in this position would also help coordinate fine arts activities such as speech and drama. Other job responsibilities include scheduling, hiring officials, coordinating gym usage, ordering supplies/equipment, managing activity budgets, and working with coaches/activity sponsors.This position is also typically combined with a transportation director role, which requires organizing transportation for sporting events and field trips.
Ideally, this position gets combined with a part-time teaching role or other responsibilities to help make it a full-time position. Interested applicants must have a valid teaching license in Iowa or hold an Activities Administrator Authorization from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
