Pay Range
$34.00 - $56.10 /hour

- Performs mammography examinations and meets quality standards set by Radiologists and ACR guidelines.
- Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
- Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA). Prepares patient for exam.
- Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
- Assists in breast biopsies with physicians and handles appropriate paperwork and specimens.
- Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
Required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Registered Radiology and Mammography Technologist; ARRT(R) and ARRT(M)
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Licensed Radiology Tech (Kansas sites only)
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- One (1) year of imaging experience
- Certified Bone Densitometry XRay certification
