Position Overview
The Family Life Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing ministries and programs that foster communion, service, and spiritual growth within the parish and the broader community. This role plays a key part in organizing and executing initiatives aligned with the mission of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary and the pastoral vision of St. Mary Catholic Parish.
Goals & Objectives
Under the direction of the Pastor and in harmony with the charism of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the coordinator will:
- Assess parish needs related to family life and service.
- Develop, implement, and support ministries that nurture faith, fellowship, and outreach.
- Promote active participation and spiritual enrichment across all stages of family and parish life.
- Event Planning & Execution
Lead the coordination of parish-wide events, including: - Marian Festival
- Marriage: The Gift
- Radiant Hearts
- Women’s Mission
- Parish Anniversary Receptions
- Incarnation Celebration
- Easter Vigil
- Midnight Mass
- Liturgical Processions
- Coffee & Donuts
- Nursery Ministry
Responsibilities Include:
- Creating project timelines and planning documents
- Recruiting and organizing volunteers
- Managing logistics and execution
- Establishing success metrics and evaluating outcomes
- Ministry Liaison
Serve as the point of contact and support for the following ministries: - Bible Studies

- Trail Life

Position Details

- Compensation: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: 31-37 hours per week with benefits
