Key Requirements And Qualifications
Certification: Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate appropriate to assignment (e.g., Elementary Education or relevant content area) in accordance with Louisiana Department of Education guidelines (Bulletin 746).
Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Education or a related field.
Experience: Prior teaching experience required; experience serving on a School Building Level Committee (SBLC) team preferred. Demonstrated experience supporting instructional planning, intervention processes, and student support systems.
Content Knowledge: Strong understanding of Louisiana Student Standards, curriculum alignment, intervention frameworks, and instructional best practices. Working knowledge of student data systems, including JCampus, particularly for scheduling, enrollment, and reporting functions.
Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to coordinate schedules and manage multiple priorities; effective collaboration with administrators, teachers, and support staff; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to analyze and use data to support instructional decisions; knowledge of SBLC processes and student intervention planning; and proficiency in JCampus for scheduling and student information management.
