Job Summary and QualificationsAs an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at our facility, you will performprofessional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment,ingenuityand initiative. In this role:
You willbe responsible forprovidingthepatient,the proper procedurewith excellent quality images toassistthe physician in the diagnosis of the patient's condition or health complaint.
You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams andc-armprocedures throughout the hospital.
You will be responsibletoschedule, plan,implementandcompletethe request for service andprovidea friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the"care like family"mission of the hospital.
You willpossessknowledge of growth anddevelopment;andhaveanunderstandingoftherange of treatment needed for these patient groups.
You willbe responsibleforstayingup todateofcurrent techniques and procedures.
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 15 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
