We are seeking aftercare counselors to supervise, educate, and have fun! We have many fun activities, including watersports, during our after school programs.
This role could be a good fit for college students looking for part-time afternoon work while gaining experience working with children.
Position: Aftercare Counselor
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in an after-school program.
- Lead educational and recreational activities.
- Participate in fun activities, including watersports.
- Help create a safe, positive environment for children.
Schedule:
- Typical hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional staff care days: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Some scheduling flexibility is available.
- Hiring immediately.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
- Experience working with children.
- Patient, professional, and reliable.
- Able to pass a background check.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to speak, read, and write English.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Lifeguard certification.
