Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in educational settings, and possess a strong understanding of childhood development. This role requires a nurturing attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage behaviors effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in educational activities that promote childhood development and learning.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support students with special needs.
- Educate children on Bible stories and truth through engaging activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer first aid as needed, ensuring the health and safety of all children in care.
- Support classroom management by helping maintain order during activities.

Experience
- Previous caregiving experience is essential, particularly in settings involving toddlers or infants.
- Experience working with students in special education is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with first aid practices and certifications is preferred.
- A background in childhood development or related fields will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.

First Aid and CPR Training provided.

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
