Position Summary:
Perform maintenance duties in the hospital and Medical office buildings as assigned. May have to work weekends, holidays, and shift work. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values. The work of the Power Plant Mechanic is primarily focused on HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, fire management systems and other systems that support the electrical, HVAC/R, and fire management systems. Power Plant Mechanic work also includes maintenance of the patient bed and stretcher fleet. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Two years of previous experience with inventory control and maintenane materials
