We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Boise Medical Center Surgical Services team. This manager will m anage and oversee overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors; and set priorities and direction for the team.
What You Can Expect:
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals. Identify talent, hire, train, and provide performance and development opportunities.
- Provide guidance to the work unit and advise managers and supervisors on issues related to supply chain.
- Develop/create analysis and prepare summaries of results for senior management.
- Review policies for consistency and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by driving efficient processes, improved tools and optimal system and process structures.
- Perform advanced duties requiring extensive and diversified experience.
- Oversee the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
- Assist in the development, implementation, direction, and coordination of policies and programs consistent with company philosophy and objectives.
- Mentor and develop individuals for future leadership roles.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
Experience: Five (5) years' relevant experience
