At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering the St. Luke’s Boise Hospital . This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).
Shift details: Monday through Thursday 1400-0030 (2:00pm to 12:30am)
What you can expect from this role:
- Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients
- Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates
- Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
