What You Can Expect in This Role:

Work as an integral part of our team in McCall , where you'll help deliver top-tier care in a collaborative and engaging clinic setting.

As part of our Orthopedic Clinic , you'll support patients in managing chronic conditions and recovering from acute injuries (such as strains, sprains, and broken bones). You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, athletic trainers, physician assistants, radiology technicians, and administrative staff.

You’ll play a key role in guiding patients through their entire surgical journey—from consultation and pre-surgical education to post-operative care.

You’ll also have opportunities to:

  • Observe procedures in the operating room to enhance understanding, triage assessment skills, and patient education delivery.

  • Assist with a variety of clinical tasks, such as brace and cast applications, arthrocentesis and intraarticular injections, ultrasound, and PRP.

  • Cross-train with the neighboring General Surgery clinic to provide additional support and expand your skillset.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. — No weekends or holidays!

Qualifications:

For Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Certifications:

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Current National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following organizations: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA

For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
