1st Shift Nurse Full Time (LPN or RN)
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a nurse at our facility, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
This position is a set schedule. The nurse would work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 1st shift (6A-2P).
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality nursing care to patients in our Transitional Care Center
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, and provide emotional support as needed
- Educate patients and their families about managing their conditions and promoting health and wellness
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa
- Previous experience in long-term care or transitional care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
