Position Summary:
Responsible for delivering health care services and treatments to patients of the practice, as delegated by the Physician(s), within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner, and in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement with LLC and Physicians(s). Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical screening examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology diagnostic tests.
- Obtain, assess, and accurately document relevant patient history and physical examinations.
- Provide appropriate treatment for a wide range of conditions, including laceration repair, fracture splinting, respiratory illnesses, minor infections, and medication management/refills.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Nursing Degree, Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
Experience: 3 years of relevant experience with a focus in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care as an Advanced Practice Provider.
Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri, certified by the American Nurses Association as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
Shifts: 4 shifts between Monday and Friday (Flexible on days) - 12pm-10pm. No weekends required.
