What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI/CT Technologist - St. Peters Clinic position at St. Luke's Hospital - MO?
Requires combined operations of technology and clinical conditions. Employees perform diagnostic procedures in a healthcare setting, which involves direct interaction with patients who may be ill, injured, or contagious. Work includes extended standing, occasional lifting or positioning of patients, and operation of equipment under strict safety protocols. Employees interact directly or indirectly with workplace hazards, including blood, electrical equipment, radiation, and contrast agents, and must adhere to infection control and safety guidelines. Employees are provided with personal protective equipment (PPE), training on safety measures, and must report any exposure incidents immediately.
Requires utilization of computers, fax, telephones, etc. and all must be used responsibly as property of the organization. St. Luke’s employee emails must be checked every shift and sustain any educational requirements.
Hours of Operation are consistent with the practice services in the building, at a minimum. Current Imaging Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. There will not be call, night, or weekend responsibility. In the future, the possibility of evening hours or weekend daytime hours could be necessary.
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
