As our Maintenance Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance duties including maintaining all filters, maintenance on air conditioning, mechanical kitchen, elevators, etc. All work Repairs are performed under supervision by qualified personnel.
Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions. Maintains positive working relationships with staff, other departments, physicians and peers. Displays conduct in support of CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial Mission & Vision.

Serving East Texas, St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin provides more than a quarter of a million patient services annually and contributes millions of dollars in local charity care and community support. We’re the area’s first Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center, with board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons offering full-spectrum stroke care. Nationally recognized as a HealthCare Center of Excellence, St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin offers compassionate, comprehensive health care, including off-campus rehab and outpatient facilities and services. In addition to its large emergency department, there are 32 private rooms, dedicated imaging and OBGYN, wound care, infusion and lab services.
Pay Range
$23.69 - $35.24 /hour

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, AND
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:
- Basic carpentry, mechanical, and air filtration knowledge, Upon Hire
- Computer literate, Upon Hire
- Must have ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), Upon Hire
- Physical abilities (Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.), Upon Hire
- Ability to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies and tools assigned, Upon Hire
