What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Coordinator position at St Luke North Canton?
St. Luke Lutheran Community -North Canton is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a Weekend Day Shift RN Coordinator at our large North Canton Campus. As an RN Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing care for our residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compassionate care are met.
Schedule:
2 x 12's, Saturday and Sunday
7:00AM - 7:30PM
Every other holiday required
Option to work both weekends
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards
Coordinate and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal resident care and adherence to established protocols and procedures
Report to the DON the status of residents, problem areas, and other related matter.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance and provide feedback and training as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to residents
Provide direct nursing care and pass medication as necessary
Participate in initial assessments upon admission
Meet with residents, and/or family members, as necessary
Participate in Interdisciplinary Team processes including completion of assessments for MDS
Requirements:
Valid and current RN license in the state of Ohio
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills
Long-term-care or other related health care facility experience
