Pay Rate: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Kitchen supervisor with a background in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) to oversee our daily dietary operations. In this role, you will manage kitchen staff, ensure strict compliance with health and healthcare food service regulations, manage inventory, and ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals on schedule.
Shifts & Schedule
Hours: Varying shifts based on operational needs.
Must be flexible for early mornings (6:00 AM start times) and mid-day shifts (11:30 AM start times).
Includes rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily meal preparation, ensuring compliance with prescribed therapeutic diets and consistency in quality.
Manage, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and dietary staff.
Maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and infection control in accordance with local, state, and federal (CMS) regulations.
Handle inventory management, food ordering, and cost control while minimizing waste.
Collaborate with the Dietary Director and clinical team to ensure resident satisfaction and meet nutritional requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role strictly required.
Healthcare Experience: Prior experience working within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care environment is required.
Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations for healthcare facilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
ServSafe Certification (or equivalent food safety manager certification) preferred.
