What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Dietary Manager position at St Luke North Canton?
St. Luke Lutheran Community is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to fill a full-time Assistant Dietary Manger role at our North Canton Campus.
The Assistant Dietary Director will be responsible for assisting with overseeing food service operations while ensuring our residents receive nutritionally balanced and safe meals. They Manager will assist with managing all aspects of the Dietary Department including menu planning, food purchasing, employee training and supervision, as well as reviewing food/kitchen safety (while strictly following regulations). Additionally, this is a "working" Manager role which will require the training and occasional need to cover any shift for any position in the Dietary Department:
Candidates should be willing to work a flexible schedule including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
ServSafe and Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certifications required and previous successful supervisory experience a must. *Certified Food Protection Professional preferred.
