The incumbent will oversee the Special Supplemental Nutrition program for women, infants and children (WIC) grant and coordinate WIC activities to meet program requirements. Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

- Planning, coordinating, and implementing clinic activities and nutrition services.This position is part of the Civil Service Basic Union Contract represented by Council 5 of AFSCME.
The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2022. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $30.83 - $43.94 per hour.
Please note: The current vacancy is a part-time position (FTE .5). The incumbent will office out of the Duluth, Hibbing, Ely or Virginia based on the applicant's location preference.
Distinguishing Features of Work
An employee in this class is responsible for administering public health programs, grants and contracts. Duties include managing health intervention programs; evaluating program outcomes and implementing improvements; participating in the local public health assessment and planning process; assisting with the development and evaluation of staff core competencies. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.

Selection Process
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass/Fail):
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition or a closely related field AND five (5) years full-time paid verifiable professional experience in nutrition; OR graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in dietetics, nutrition or a closely related field AND three (3) years full-time paid verifiable professional experience in nutrition.
- Current licensure or certification as a Registered Dietician OR a Minnesota Licensed Dietician OR a Minnesota Licensed Nutritionist.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
RATING SYSTEM:
Supplemental Questions will be 60% of the scoring process:
