Position Summary
The Manager, Enrollment Services leads the daily operations of the campus Enrollment Services team, providing supervision and guidance to Enrollment Service Counselors, part-time staff, clerical support, student workers, and Welcome Desk personnel. Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment
Services, this position ensures a student-centered and seamless enrollment experience by integrating admissions, financial aid, registration, and records services at the campus level. The Manager collaborates with campus departments such as Advising, Testing, and Campus Life to remove barriers and support student enrollment, registration, and retention. Operating within federal, state, and institutional policies, the Manager oversees staff training, performance, and service delivery to maintain compliance and high-quality service standards. This role serves as a campus liaison for enrollment-related initiatives, including financial aid counseling, student records management, and support for special populations such as international, dual enrollment, and adult learners. The Manager contributes to strategic enrollment planning, ensures accurate documentation and reporting, and participates in campus leadership activities to enhance student success. Utilizing tools such as CRM Recruit, BANNER, and other student systems, the Manager monitors service efficiency and student progress throughout the enrollment pipeline
Primary Duties Performed
- Monitors daily Counselor activities to ensure that every student caseload is being properly documented in Banner, CRN, and other student communication platforms.
- Assist and Advise students on course selection.
- Directs the functions of the Enrollment Service unit to provide essential information, answer questions, counsel and provide problem resolution for all students in the areas of admissions, registration, enrollment, and student records, regarding financial aid, assessment, advising, access, career services, billing, and payment.
- Advising students about financial aid eligibility, available financial aid programs; educational costs, and financial management strategies including loans, financing options, debt management and budgeting
- Conduct complex conversations with students regarding Financial Aid Packaging (including verification of financial aid files, special circumstance cases, SAP appeal decisions, cost of attendance adjustments, return of Title IV funds and other adjustments to packages and awards).
- Provides oversite for the functions in the Enrollment Service Center and Help desk.
- Works to identify and remove barriers for students during the registration process by investigation, professional judgment, and individual discretion, as appropriate; follow through on issues until resolved, providing.

- Collaborating with Advising, Testing, Campus life, Trio and other student service departments to provide a seamless registration experience for students.
- Identify potential training needs for staff to assist with caseload management, and processes to improve operational efficiencies and student service.
- Conducts and documents performance and coaching sessions with Counselors.
- Assist in developing training to use in onboarding new staff and oversees effective customer service and cross-functional training programs for new staff, as well as an ongoing refresher training program for existing staff.
- Ability to make professional judgement for financial aid documentations.
- Works with the campus Vice President of Affairs and participates in their campus leadership meetings.
- Participates in the creation of the strategic enrollment plan and its implementation at the campus level.
- Serves as the campus data steward for student academic records, ensuring accuracy and security of official student records, including both electronic and manual records and files as directed by District policy.
- Contributes to the design, implementation, and monitoring of effective and efficient District-wide systems for managing admissions and registration systems.
- Provides fiduciary oversight for the campus Enrollment Service unit and management of budgets attached to programs, services and personnel.
- Maintains knowledge of issues surrounding many types of students and programs, including adult learners, English as a Second Language, GED, pre-college, high school dual enrollment, transfer, technical, personal enrichment, and credit for prior learning.
- Serves as the campus resource for International Student questions and procedures with regard to admission, registration, and records.
- Works in close collaboration with other departments to ensure that all financial aid processes are following policies, regulations for financial aid awarding, counseling, and record keeping.
- Works with the Coordinator of Work-study to assist student with college employment.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with three (3) years of relevant full-time experience preferred but
will accept an internal candidate with an associate’s degree with at least five (5) years of relevant
full-time experience.
