The Transition Advisor will work with individuals in a one to one ratio as well as facilitate virtual group classes on weekday afternoons/evenings between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. depending on supported individuals availability (scheduled roughly 5-10 hours/week). Staff must reside around the Saint Louis Metro area to be eligible for this role.

What You Will Do

Empower people to live their best life by providing inclusive and family centered supports

• Manage caseload with required 1:1 virtual sessions
• Provide personalized support that is aligned with programmatic goals and outcomes
• Implement and modify curriculum for classes
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate classes based on setting goals, navigating resources and increasing independence
• Complete monthly evaluations for each individual on caseload
• Maintain and update activities and resources focused on transition-aged individuals

What We Expect Of You

The flexible, respectful individual we see is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, preferably in education, human studies or a related field
• 2 years working with transition age individuals (teens and young adults) with varying support needs
• Teaching and presentation skills also a plus
