Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented and organized person to join our team. In this roll your responsibilities will include working closely with the pastor, administrative assistant, business developer, facilities manager, maintenance manager and school prinicpal to maintain accurate financial records. It will also include projects related to buildings, maintaining the school's tuition payment system and preparing financial reports for all departments using GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). This position is for the church and school.
Job Description
*Your key responsibilities will include entering and maintaining transactions for accounts payable and deposits, donations and school tuition payments.
*You will create financial reports as needed for the bulletin, reporting and meetings.
*You will approve payroll twice a month, as well as maintain and update spreadsheets for various needs.
*You will maintain and reconcile all credit cards charges and payments.
*You will also maintain W9s and insurance certificates for all vendors and coordinate with the Diocese for 1099s and Worker's Compensation filing.
*You will create schedules for Coffee and Donuts ministry and Altar Flowers.
Qualifications
- Accounting degree preferred
- Proficient with spreadsheets
- Detail oriented
- Highly organized
- Previous experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful
